Luke Hanahoe

Luke Hanahoe is the firm's Managing Partner and head of the Litigation Department. Luke has extensive experience in all areas of litigation, with a particular focus on Personal Injury Litigation, Professional Negligence and Family Law. Luke is also happy to advise clients on property and conveyancing matters. Luke's experience and expertise seen him twice be nominated for the 'Leinster Solicitor of the Year Award' at the Irish Law Awards. Luke was educated in Clongowes Wood College, before obtaining his initial degree in University College Dublin. Thereafter Luke qualified as a Barrister from Kings Inns before enrolling as a Solicitor. Luke operates out of both our Naas and Dublin office and regularly attends before the Circuit and High Court in litigation matters. Luke is also an active member and supporter of the Kildare Chamber of Commerce, and served as it President from October 2019 until October 2022. Berna Hanahoe B.C.L

Berna is a Partner in the firm and head of the Property Department. With over forty years' experience, Berna is also one of the county's most experienced and respected practitioners and a former President of the Kildare Bar Association. Berna's particular areas of expertise are Residential and Commercial Conveyancing and Probate. As well as acting for both purchasers and vendors in property transactions, Berna has acted for numerous builders and developers in sale of housing estates and commercial developments. Tony Hanahoe

Until recently, Tony was the firm's managing partner. Tony is one of the most experienced and well-regarded solicitors in the county. Tony's main areas of focus are Commercial Litigation and Commercial Conveyancing. Tony also advises client's extensively on Personal Injury matters. Tony is a fountain of legal knowledge and his experience and expertise is utilised in all areas of the practise. Tony regularly appears before the Circuit and High Court and he is both a seasoned and revered District Court Advocate. Audrey Moore

Audrey has worked in law firms in both Dublin and in Kildare and has over ten years’ experience. She is also a qualified Legal Executive having studied in Griffith College Dublin.  She works alongside Tony Hanahoe, Partner, in the areas of Criminal Law, Personal Injury Law, Commercial Law, and Property Law.

Marie Fitzgerald

Marie has extensive experience, working for numerous legal firms across the county for over twenty years. Marie has been with Hanahoe and Hanahoe for over 4 years, where she works very closely with our Managing Partner, Luke Hanahoe, in the areas of Personal Injury Law, Family Law and General Litigation

Joanne has been with Hanahoe and Hanahoe for over eight years and has huge experience in conveyancing and property law. She works with Berna Hanahoe, Partner, and Joanne O'Neill in the Property team.

Paulina Polcik

Paulina is also in the process of becoming a solicitor. Paulina has been with the firm for over five years and in that time she has gained extensive knowledge in the areas of Personal Injury Litigation and Family Law. Paulina, who is originally from Poland, assists us in advising our very large Polish client base and can offer translation services.
